Reporter Diane Ako mentioned in the Charity Walk in the May 4th Alexa flash briefings: "On O'ahu, over 3,000 walkers and volunteers walked in the Hawai'i Lodging & Tourism Association's 45th Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk. It's a statewide event, and on the Valley Isle, the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association held its own walk that raised $1 point 2 million. Hawai'i Island's walk is next week in Waikoloa."
